Best Caravan Parks for Kids on The Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast boasts a whole range of caravan parks in many of the most spectacular areas and beaches it can sometimes be difficult to decide where to stay. If you are travelling with kids it can sometimes be especially tricky to ensure they have a good time without having to compromise on some adult relaxation time. The Dicky Beach Caravan park is a favourite for both kids and parents and is a great place to stay if you are wanting to get a feel for the sunshine coast beaches and food. This stunning caravan park is located right on the beachfront, on one of the most beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast. The holiday park comes with all the facilities you would expect, plus a pool and a tennis court, kids playground and free wifi. Thanks to the amazing location, be sure to go for a walk along Dicky Beach and let the kids know there is a skate park just 50 meters up the road.

3. Kenilworth Homestead - Kenilworth

This caravan park is privately owned and located in the stunning Sunshine Coast Hinterland at Kenilworth.

This park is great if you are wanting to experience a more relaxing adventure, however, there is still lots of things to see and do with the kids.

Kenilworth Homestead is located on the Mary River and kids often love exploring the area and playing with the farm animals.

One of the best times of year to book this caravan park is over the Easter long weekend, the staff at the homestead organise a full program to keep the kids busy, including pony rides, crafts, movies, rock climbing and archery.

This park is extremely popular so be sure to book well in advance.
